Dasolo and Tender cardigan

Materials:

Lana Grossa quality "Dasolo", 87% merino wool extra fine, 13% polyamide, about 400 (450) g green (col 6) and 100 g cyclamen (col 4),  "Tender", 50% wool, 40% micro-fibres (polyamide), 10% acrylic, about 150 g each pistachio/salmon/pink (col 9) and red/orange/green (col 12), one pair 7 mm needles and 6 hooks.

Basic patt:

see diagram. Rs and Ws rows are given. Work sts as given. Rep rows 1 - 12. 1 square = 1 st and 1 row.

Tension:

 14 sts and 21 rows to 10 cm square (basic patt 7 mm needles).
Left front: cast on 38 (44) sts using 7 mm needles in "Dasolo" green and cont in basic patt, working Rs rows as foll: edge st, start at arrow A (C), end at arrow B (D), edge st. Wwm 35 (38) cm cast off for armhole at right edge on every alt row 5 (6) sts once, 2 (3) sts once and 1 st twice. Wwm 50 (54) cm cast off for neck at left edge 5 sts once. For neck shaping cast off on every alt row 2 sts twice and 1 st 3 times (2 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st twice). Wwm 56 (62) cm cast off rem sts.
Right front: proceed as given for left front, working in reverse.
Back: cast on 75 (85) sts using 7 mm needles in "Dasolo" green and cont in basic patt as foll: edge st, start at arrow C, end at arrow E, edge st. Wwm 35 (38) cm cast off for armholes at each end on every alt row 5 (6) sts once, 2 (3) sts once and 1 st twice. Wwm 53 (57) cm cast off for neck the 11 (13) centre sts. At neck edge cast off on every alt row 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once. Wwm 56 (62) cm cast off rem sts.
Sleeves: cast on 45 sts with using 7 mm needles in "Dasolo" green and cont in basic as foll: edge st, start at arrow C, end at arrow E, edge st. Wwm 30 cm inc for sleeve shaping 1 st at each end once, then 1 st on every 8th row twice and 1 st once on 4th foll row (1 st on every 4th row 5 times). Wwm 42 cm cast off for sleeve top at each end on every alt row 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 10 (12) times, 2 sts twice and 3 sts once. Wwm 56 (57) cm cast off rem sts. Work 2nd sleeve alike.
To make up: block pieces to measurements and cover with a damp cloth. Join seams. For neck, front bands and lower edge of cardigan as well as for sleeve edges work a braide with 9 strands in "Dasolo" green. Attach braids. Attach hooks spaced about 9 cm apart.
