Materials: Lana Grossa quality "Kidair", 25% kid mohair, 75% micro-fibers, approx 350 g petrol (col 11), one pair size 6 mm needle and one size 4 mm crochet hook.
Basic pattern: number of sts multiple of 14 + 1 + edge sts. See diagram. On right side rows are given. On wrong side P all sts and yo´s. Rep rows 1 - 24 for patt. 1 square = 1 st and 2 rows.
Gauge: 17.5 sts and 23 rows to 10 cm or 4" square (basic patt with size 6 mm needles).
Left front: cast on 51 sts using size 6 mm needles and P 1 return row, cont in basic patt: edge st, start at arrow A, rep patt g 3 times, end at arrow B, edge st. After 2 rows bind off for neck shaping at left edge 1 st on every alt row twice, then 1 st alt on every 2nd and 4th row 16 times. When work measures 9 cm or 3 1/2" from beginning inc for side shaping at right edge 1 st on every 6th row 5 times. When work measures 25 cm or 9 7/8" from beginning bind off for armhole at right edge on every alt row 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 st 3 times. When work measures 41 cm or 16 1/8" from beginning bind off rem 13 sts.
Right front: work as given for left front, working in reverse.
Back: cast on 65 sts using size 6 mm needles and P 1 return row, cont in basic patt: edge st, start at arrow A, rep patt g 4 times, end at arrow B, edge st. When work measures 9 cm or 3 1/2" inc for side shaping 1 st at each end on every 6th row 5 times. When work measures 25 cm or 9 7/8" from beginning bind off for armholes at each end on every alt row 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 st 3 times. When work measures 39 cm or 15 3/8" from beginning bind off for neck the 25 center sts. At neck edge bind off on 2 sts once on 2nd foll row. When work measures 41 cm or 16 1/8" from beginning bind off rem 13 sts.
Sleeves: cast on 41 sts using size 6 mm needles and P 1 return row, cont in basic patt: edge st, start at arrow C, rep patt g twice, end at arrow D, edge st. For sleeve shaping inc 1 st at each end on every 12th row 6 times, then 1 st on every 10th row 3 times. When work measures 49 cm or 19 1/4" from beginning bind off for sleeve top at each end on every alt row 3 sts once, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 4 times, 2 sts 3 times and 3 sts once. When work measures 59 cm or 23 1/4" from beginning bind off rem sts. Work 2nd sleeve alike.
Finishing: block pieces to measurements and cover with a damp cloth. Join seams. Along all edges crochet 1 row resp. round sc, gathering neck line a little. For bands join 1 thread each at point of neck, crochet a chain each approx 90 cm or 35" long, then 1 return row slip sts.
