Materials: Lana Grossa "Secondo" (55% cotton, 25% polyamide, 20% silk, running length = approx 137 yrd/50 g): approx 300 (350) g green (col 1); knitting needles size 2/3 (US), 1 crochet hook size C-2/D-3
Stockinette stitch:

Work RS rows K and WS rows P.
Diamond - Ajour pattern:  Work acc knitting chart. Figures on the right indicate RS rows. In WS rows work sts P resp as indicated in foll legend. Horizontally start with sts preceding 1. arrow, always rep patt rep = 6 sts between arrows, finish row with sts foll 2. arrow. Vertically always work 1. – 12. row. Attention: Always note yos in each WS row!
Gauge:

20 sts and 27 rows diamond – ajour patt with needles size 2/3 = 10 x 10 cm (4" x 4").
Back:  Cast on 83 (95) sts. Work 1 WS row K. Then cont in diamond – ajour patt. After 16 cm = 43 rows from beg co 4 sts on each side for armholes, then co another 1x 3 sts, 1x 2 sts and 1x 1 st in every 2. row = 63 (75) sts. When armholes measure 19 (20) cm = 52 (54) rows co all sts in one go.
Left front: 

Cast on 83 (95) sts. Work 1 WS row K. Then cont in diamond – ajour patt. After 6 cm = 17 rows from beg co 42 (48) sts on left edge for binding ribbon. For neckline slant co 1 st in foll 2. row on left edge, then co another 8x 1 st each in every 4. row and in every 6. row co another 7x 1 st. Work armhole on right edge in same height as back. When armhole measures 19 (20) cm = 52 (54) rows co rem 15 (21) shoulder sts.
Right front: Work in reverse to left front.
Sleeve:

Cast on 92 sts. Work 1 WS row K first. Then work 3 cm = 8 rows in stst for ruffle, thereby always p2tog each between selv sts in last WS row = 47 sts. Then cont in diamond – ajour patt. For slants inc 1 st on each side in 7. (9.) row from end of ruffle, then inc 5(0)x 1 st each in every 10. row and in every 8. row inc another 6(13)x 1 st each = 71 (75) sts. Integrate inc sts into diamond – ajour patt consistently. After 43 cm = 116 rows from end of ruffle co 3 sts on each side for sleeve head, then co another 1x 2 sts, 15x 1 st each, 1x 2 sts and 1x 3 sts in every 2. row. In foll row co rem 21 (25) sts.
Finishing:

Block pieces acc to measurements, dampen and allow to dry. Join seams. Crochet 1 row of sc and 1 row of crab sts = sc worked from left to right across edge of neckline without binding ribbons. Sew in sleeves. Fasten binding ribbons acc model.
