Materials: Lana Grossa "Linarte" (70% microfiber[rayon], 20% linen, 10% polyamide, running length 137 yrd/50 g), 250 g white (col 17), "Estate" (90% cotton, 10% polyamide, running length 142 yrd/50 g), 150 g white (col 14), knitting needles size 6 (US), 1 crochet hook size E-4 (US).
Stockinette stitch: RS = K, WS = P
Garter stitch: RS = K, WS = K
Cable/Ajour pattern: Work acc knitting chart A.
Leaf patter: Work acc knitting chart B.
Gauges: Stst with "Linarte": 23 sts and 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm (approx 4" x 4"); cable/ajour pattern with "Linarte": 24 sts and 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm (approx 4" x 4"); garter st with "Estate": 19 sts and 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm (approx 4" x 4").
Front: Cast on 139 sts with "Linarte" (= 1st row) and work 5 rows garter st. Then cont in cable/ajour pattern as foll: Acc knitting chart A begin with the 10 sts preceding pattern repeat, work pattern repeat 7 x and end row with the 10 sts foll pattern repeat. In 69th row (= when work measures approx 21 cm [approx 8,3"] from beg) start with ajour pattern as indicated, then always repeat this row with WS rows, at the same time begin with co for hip slant in foll RS row and k2tog between selv st and ajour pattern (= co 8 sts), cont these co 4 x in every 16th row = 99 sts. When work measures 38 cm (approx 15") from beg work stst across all sts.When work measures 42,5 cm (approx 16,7") begin working 7 leaves acc knitting chart B above middle sts of ajour patterns. When leaves are done work another 2 rows stst across all sts, thereby evenly co 19 sts in last row = 78 sts. Finishing: Join shoulder and side seams. Crochet 1 rnd of sc and 1 rnd of crab sts (= sc from left to right) around border of neckline and border of sleeves with "Estate".
