Materials: Lana Grossa "New Cotton" (60% cotton, 40% microfiber [polyamide], running length 153 yrd/50 g), 300 g green (col 44), knitting needles size 6-7 (US), 1 crochet hook size E-4.
Rib pattern: Alt K1, P1.
Texture pattern: (no of sts divisible by 7 + 2 selv sts): 1st row = RS row: K. 2nd row: P. 3rd row: Selv st, *K1 and yo1, P1, p3tog, P1, yo1, K1, always rep from *, selv st. 4th row: Work all sts and yo pwise. Always repeat 1st – 4th row.
Gauge: Texture pattern with size 7 needles: 20 sts and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm (approx 4" x 4").
Front: Cast on 78 sts with needles size 6 and work 16 cm (approx 6,3") in rib pattern for border, thereby inc 22 sts evenly in last row = 100 sts. Cont in texture pattern with needles 7, thereby working 35 sts of 1st row and leave 65 sts rem.
Left front: Cast on another 30 sts adding them to the 35 sts at left edge for underfly = 65 sts, for neckline slant co 6 x 1 st each in every 2nd row, foll by 6 x 1 st each alt in every 2nd and 4th row, then 12 x 1 st each in every 4th row and 10 x 1 st each in every 6th row. Simultaneously at a height of 10 cm (approx 4") from border inc 1 st at right edge for sleeve slant, then inc 3 x 1 st each in every 4th row and 6 x 1 st each and 2 x 2 sts each in every 2nd row and integrate into pattern. At a height of 34 cm (approx 13,4") from border co 1 x 5 sts, 12 x 3 sts and 2 x 2 sts each in every 2nd row at right edge for shoulder slant. Then work 65 sts left rem and work right front in reverse to left front.
Back: Cast on 78 sts with needles size 6 and work 16 cm (approx 6,3") in rib pattern for border, thereby inc 22 sts evenly in last row = 100 sts. Cont in texture pattern with needles 7, thereby working sleeve and shoulder slants on both sides like front. At a height of 40 cm (approx 15,7") from border co 28 middle sts for neckline and finish both sides separately, thereby co 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row for shaping neckline.
Finishing: Join shoulder, side and sleeve seams. Crochet 1 row of sc and 1 row of crab sts (= sc from left to right) around front borders, back neckline and sleeve borders. Sew underfly of left front to ribbed border.
