Materials: Lana Grossa quality "Caramella" (50% cotton, 48% micro-fibres (polyamide), 2% polyester, mt = 80 m/50 g) 400 (450) g green (col 9); and "Leggero" (100% micro-fibres, mt = 160 m/50 g) 250 (300) g yellow-green (col 59). One pair size 8 mm needles, one size 6 mm crochet hook and 5 buttons (from UNION KNOPF). 
Basic patt: use both yarns tog!: 1st row: edge st, alt K1, P1, edge st. 2nd row: work sts as set. Rows 3 and 4: K. Rep rows 1 - 4 for patt.
Crochet border: 1st row: sc. 2nd row: * 1 sc, 1 picot (= 3 ch, 1 slip st back into 1st ch, 1 sc, rep from *.
Gauge: in basic patt: 11 sts and 16 rows to 10 cm or 4" square.
Left front: cast on 28 (30) sts and cont in basic patt, for hip shaping dec at right edge alt on every 4th and 6th row 1 st 4 times. When work measures 12 cm or 4 _" bind off for pocket opening the 14 center sts, end row, slip sts onto a length of yarn. For pocket lining cast on 14 sts and work 10 cm or 4" in basic patt. Then insert sts of pocket lining for the bound-off sts and cont again over all sts in basic patt. When work measures 13 cm or 5 1/8" inc for side shaping at right edge alt on every 6th and 8th row 1 st 4 times. When work measures 32 cm or 12 _" bind off for armhole at right edge on every alt row 2 sts twice and 1 st 3 times. When work measures 46 cm or 18 1/8" bind off for neck at left edge 5 sts once, then on every alt row 2 sts once and 1 st twice. When work measures 52 cm or 20 _" bind off for shoulder 6 (7) sts on every alt row twice.
Right front: work in reverse to left front.
Back: cast on 55 (59) sts and cont in basic patt. For hip shaping dec 1 st at each end alt on every 4th and 6th row 4 times. When work measures 13 cm or 5 1/8" bind inc for side shaping 1 st at each end alt on every 6th and 8th row 4 times. When work measures 32 cm or 12 _" bind off for armholes at each end on every alt row 2 sts twice and 1 st 3 times = 41 (45) sts. When work measures 52 cm or 20 _" bind off for shoulders at each end on every alt row 6 (7) sts twice, at the same time bind off for neck the 17 center sts.
Sleeves: cast on 30 sts and cont in basic patt. When work measures 7 cm or 2 _" inc for sleeve shaping 1 st at each end on every 10th row twice, then 1 st on every 8th row 4 times = 42 sts. When work measures 44 cm or 17 _" bind off for sleeve top at each end on every alt row 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 4 times and 2 sts 3 times, then bind off rem 10 sts.
Finishing: join shoulder, side sleeve seams. Sew sleeves in position, attach pocket lining. Along neck edge and front edges crochet 1 round sc in "Leggero" and "Caramella", at right front work 5 buttoning loops evenly across (= 3 ch, miss 2 sts). With "Caramella" work a crochet border, working a chain in needed length, 1 ch for turning and 2 rows crochet border as given: for pocket lining approx 12 cm or 4 _" each, for sleeve edges approx 26 cm or 10 _" each, for lower border approx 96 (100) cm or 37 _ (19 3/8)", for front and neck border approx 145 cm or 57". Attach borders approx 1 cm or 3/8" from edge with zigzag edge along border. Sew on buttons.
