Materials: Lana Grossa quality "New Cotton Seta", 60% micro-fibers (modal), 20% silk, 20% micro-fibers (polyamide), approx. 650(700) g petrol (col 314), one pair 5.5 mm needles and one 4.5 mm crochet hook.
Bobble pattern: see diagram 1. Only Rs rows are given. Unless given otherwise: on return rows work sts as set. Work rows 1-20 once, then rep rows 5-20. 1 square = 1 st and 2 rows.
Cable pattern: see diagram 2. Only right side rows are given, on wrong side work all sts as set. Rep rows 1-6. 1 square = 1 st and 2 rows.

Button:   cast on 4 ch with crochet hook and join in round with 1 slip st. 1st round: 3 ch, 10 dc round ring, join round with 1 slip st into 3rd ch. 2nd round: 1 ch, 5 dc into foll 5 sts, working off only half, then work all 5 unworked dc tog, into foll 6 sts work each time 1 half-worked dc, then work off tog all 6 unworked dc. Work off the 2 sts tog once again.
Visible dec:   left front: work sts in patt to last 3 sts, then K2 tog, K1 = edge sts. On return row slip these edge sts purlwise, holding yarn at front of work. Right front: from front edge: K1 (= edge st), 1 slip dec (= slip 1 knitwise, K1, pass slipped st over). Work further sts in patt. On return row slip edge sts purlwise, holding yarn at front of work.
Gauge: 24 sts = 12 cm or 4 3/4” wide (bobble patt with 5.5 mm needles); 24 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm or 4“ square (cable pattern with 5.5 mm needles).
Left front: cast on 56(65) sts with 5.5 mm needles and work from 1st row (= right side row) from right edge as foll: edge st, patt g cable pattern see diagram2 2(3) times, 24 sts bobble pattern see diagram 1, patt g cable pattern see diagram 2 once, last 3 sts of patt g cable pattern see diagram 2, edge st. For hip shaping bind off 1 st once on 7th row at right egde, then 1 st on every 8th row 6 times. When work measures 27(28) cm or 10 5/8(11)” from beginning inc for side shaping from right edge 1 st once, then 1 st on every 4th row twice and 1 st on every alt row 4 times. Work inc sts in cable pattern. After 37(39) cm or 14 1/2(15 3/8)” from beginning dec for neck shaping at left edge 1 st once, then 1 st on every alt row 15 times and 1 st on every 4th row 8 times, working vis. After 41(42) cm or 16 1/8(16 1/2)” fb bind off for armhole at right egde 4(6) sts once, then on every alt row 3 sts once, 2 sts 2(4) times and 1 st once. After 60(62) cm or 23 5/8(24 3/8)” from beginning bind off rem 20(23) sts.
Right front: work as given for left front, working in reverse. When work measures 35(37) cm or 13 3/4(14 1/2)” from beginning work at right egde 1 buttonhole (= bind off 2 sts, on foll row cast on 2 sts again).
Back: cast on 116(134) sts with 5.5 mm needles, work 1st row (= right side row) from right edge as foll: edge st, 5(6) times patt g cable pattern see diagram 2, 24 sts bobble pattern see diagram 1, last 3 sts of patt g cable pattern see diagram 2, 4(5) sts patt g cable pattern, first 6 sts of patt g cable pattern, edge st. Work hip and side shaping as well as armholes as given for left front, on either side. When work measures 57(59) cm or 22 1/2(23 1/4)” from beginning bind off for neck the 26 center sts. At neck edge bind off on every alt row 5 sts once and 4 sts twice. When work measures 60(62) cm or 23 5/8(24 3/8)” from beginning bind off rem 20(23) sts.
Sleeves: cast on 53(62) sts with 5.5 mm needles and cont in cable pattern: edge st, patt g 5(6) times, first 6 sts of patt g, edge st. For sleeve shaping inc 1 st at each end once on 7th row, then 1 st on every 8th row 14 times. Work inc sts in pattern. After 45 cm or 17 3/4” from beginning bind off for sleeve top 3(4) sts at each end once, then on every alt row 2 sts twice, 1 st 12(13) times, 2 sts twice, 3 sts twice and 4(5) sts once. After 59(60) cm or 23 1/4(23 5/8)” from beginning bind off rem sts. Work 2nd sleeve alike.
Finishing: block pieces to measurements, cover with a damp cloth and leave to dry. Join seams. Round neck and along front borders of fronts crochet 1 row slip sts. Work button and sew on.
